Job Title: Blender

Type of Role: (Contract)

Expected Length of Contract: (3-4 months)

Shift / Hours: Monday – Friday, 6am – 2:30pm

Location: Morgan Hill, CA

Hourly Range: $18.00 – $20.00

SUMMARY

The Blender is responsible for accurately measuring, mixing, and blending raw chemical materials to produce batches according to established formulas and production schedules. This role ensures product quality, safety, and efficiency while following standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Measure, weigh, and blend chemicals and raw materials according to batch formulas and work instructions

· Operate blending, mixing, and batching equipment safely and efficiently

· Follow production schedules to meet output and quality targets

· Check job PPS (Packaging Process Specification) for instructions.

· Monitor mixing processes and make adjustments as required

· Collect samples and perform basic quality checks during and after blending

· Maintain accurate batch records and production documentation

· Clean, sanitize, and maintain blending equipment between batches

· Identify and report equipment issues, process deviations, or safety concerns Perform various general maintenance duties, as instructed by supervisor or manager.

· Learn and follow all safety procedures related to the setup and operation of equipment, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.

· Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and handling of hazardous materials

QUALIFICATIONS

· High school diploma or GED preferred.

· Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

· Bilingual in Spanish or French a plus.

· Minimum of two years of experience in same or associated field.

· Must be able to interpret/understand documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance instructions.

· Must have pallet jack experience; forklift certification preferred (training will be provided)

· Good communication skills are required.

· Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions.

· Must be able to read, write legibly, count accurately, and perform simple math.

· Must be able to lift to 30 lbs., additional weight with assistance.
