Job Title: Warehouse Trainer
Direct Hire Role
Shift / Hours: 6pm – 3:30am
Location: San Antonio, TX
Pay Rate: $18.00
The Warehouse Trainer will be responsible for maintaining compliance with OSHA. They will be providing hands-on training and testing new hires for general labor, forklift and CDL positions. The trainer will be expected to complete the following duties and responsibilities as well as be able to support operations if needed on occasion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test candidates on safe forklift driving skills and interlocking modules.
- Train new hire team members following the company’s Safety Orientation /Training Plan.
- Coordinate training with Operations Management and Staffing Agencies.
- Maintain Training records daily.
- Conduct Behavior Based Safety and Power Industrial Truck audits daily.
- Train New Team members on production manufacturing lines and warehouse when applicable.
- Support safety program (audits, observations, etc.)
- Perform any other tasks assigned by leadership to support and improve the overall team operations to include site specific duties.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Forklift trainer at least 10 yrs of recent forklift experience preferred.
- Must have strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Must have good attendance, performance, and safety record.
- Must be able to use computers, scanners, and related equipment.
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and be professional.
- Must be able to schedule and conduct classroom and hands-on training.
