Job Title: Forklift Operator
Type of Role: Long-term / Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours: Mon-Fri 8a-5p for Training and as needed and 6a – 2:30p
Location: Far East El Paso, TX
Hourly Range: $15.00 – $17.00
Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations for an assembly facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and efficient movement of high-value components and finished goods, ensuring timely material flow to and from production lines. This role requires attention to detail, inventory awareness, and adherence to strict safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate forklifts gas to move materials within the warehouse
• Safely load, unload, stack, and transport pallets of raw materials, components, and finished servers
• Support production and assembly lines by staging kits, parts, and packaging as needed
• Perform material put-away and replenishment in designated storage locations
• Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts, assisting in inventory accuracy and control
• Ensure all material movements are logged accurately in ERP/WMS systems
• Follow proper handling and storage procedures for sensitive electronic components (ESD compliance)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S and safety guidelines
•Inspect forklift equipment daily and report maintenance issues promptly
• Assist in general warehouse duties as required, including manual picking or packing

Candidate Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid forklift experience operating (Sit-down (Gas is a must), Stand up, Cherry Picker).
• Minimum 1–2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in electronics or high-tech manufacturing
• Familiarity with inventory systems, barcode scanners, and warehouse processes
• Experience handling ESD-sensitive materials a plus Wiwynn Confidential
Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience in a server, computer hardware, or electronics warehouse
• ERP/WMS experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Key Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Solid understanding of warehouse safety practices
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Work Environment:
• Climate-controlled warehouse with designated ESD-safe zones
• Regular use of forklifts, scanners, and material handling equipment
