Job Title: Material Lead for the Shipping and Receiving Department
Type of Role: Long-term / Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours: Mon-Fri 8a-5p for Training and as needed and 6a – 2:30p
Location: Far East El Paso, TX
Hourly Range: $17.00 – $19.00
We are seeking a Material Lead to manage high?value, time?sensitive components used in computer server assembly. This role oversees critical material flow, ensures accuracy and on?time delivery, and prevents shortages in a fast?paced, high?tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track critical raw materials (CPUs, memory, motherboards, power supplies)
- Ensure timely kitting and delivery to production lines
- Monitor inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and traceability
- Work with planning and procurement to prevent shortages
- Lead a small team focused on sensitive, high?priority inventory
- Enforce ESD and safety standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years material handling experience (critical/high?value items preferred)
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems
- Electronics or server manufacturing background preferred
- Familiarity with ESD and serialized inventory
Nice-to-Have: English/Spanish bilingual, forklift certification, Lean/Six Sigma experience
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Climate?controlled, ESD?compliant facility
- Standing/walking most of shift; lifting up to 50 lbs
- Use of scanners and computer systems
- May require weekends or flexible hours
