Job Title: Stringer Operator (Day Shift)

Type of Role: Contract to Hire

Expected Length of Contract: 3+ months before possible conversion

Shift / Hours: Pitman Day Shift (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) 2-2-3 Schedule

Location: Burlington, WA

Hourly Range: $24 to $27 hourly depending on experience

Job Summary: The Stringer Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating the Stringer machine to support daily production. This role requires strong production experience, basic technical knowledge, and mechanical aptitude to ensure consistent product quality and minimize equipment downtime. The Stringer Operator will monitor machine performance, operate equipment using HMIs, perform routine preventive maintenance, and assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs alongside maintenance and engineering teams.

This position follows a 12-hour rotating shift schedule from 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Role and Responsibilities:

· Operate and navigate HMI and NC equipment interfaces for machine control, diagnostics, and basic troubleshooting

· Perform hands-on preventive maintenance (PM) and autonomous maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of key components

· Troubleshoot, communicate and help resolve basic machine faults issues to minimize downtime, escalate as needed

Skills and Experience:

· Experience working with HMIs and operating numerical control (NC) or automated production equipment

· Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting

· Fine motor control and steady hand-eye coordination for handling delicate solar components
