Job Title: Stand-Up Forklift Driver
Type of Role: Contract
Expected Length of Contract: Contract
Shift / Hours: Swing Shift – 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Location: Moss Landing, CA
Hourly Range: $20 per hour
About the Job:
Join a fast-paced team a leader in temperature-controlled storage and distribution. As a stand-up forklift driver, you'll play a key role in the safe and efficient handling of goods within a cold storage facility. This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the logistics industry with a potential path to permanent employment.
Role and Responsibilities:

Operate a stand-up forklift to move and organize materials in a cold storage facility.

Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper stacking and placement of inventory.
-
Ensure all safety guidelines and protocols are followed at all times.
-
Perform inventory checks and report any discrepancies to management.
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.
-
Assist with other warehouse duties as required, including order picking and packing.
Skills and Experience:
-
At least 6 months of forklift driving experience, preferably with stand-up forklifts.

Ability to work in a cold storage environment (temperatures typically range from 34°F to 40°F).

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
