Job Title: RF/Microwave Test Technician

Type of Role: Temp to Hire 

Shift / Hours: 1st Shift 

Location: Carrollton, TX

Hourly Range: $18- $21 

Job Purpose

Conduct functional tests to measure the performance of production electronic systems, assemblies, and sub-assemblies

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform tuning and testing of RF/Microwave products and sub-assemblies, including filters, mixers, and couplers
• Compare test results with specifications and accurately record test data
• Analyze defective units to determine root cause of failure
• Ensure that all test equipment calibration requirements are maintained
• Effectively manage time and complete all tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Education and Experience:

• Associate’s Degree or 2-year Technical Degree in Electronics or associated field required
• 1-2 years of related experience required
• RF/Microwave test and troubleshooting experience preferred
• Experience in the electronic manufacturing industry a plus
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot digital and analog circuitry to the component level and perform root cause analysis
• Demonstrated ability to follow test procedures, specifications, and other documentation requirements
• Experience using vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, and multi meters
