B Shift: Sunday–Tuesday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM and Wednesday, 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
???????D Shift: Wednesday, 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM and Thursday–Saturday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
EHS Technician – Job Summary
We’re seeking a proactive and detail?oriented EHS Technician to support Environmental, Health & Safety programs at our manufacturing facility. This role focuses on hazard identification, regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe work environment. The technician will work closely with the EHS & Compliance Manager and assist with internal and external audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily safety walkthroughs to identify and correct hazards.
- Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies across all shifts.
- Assist with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 documentation and process checks.
- Inspect safety equipment (fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, PPE, etc.).
- Manage hazardous materials and waste, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
- Support incident investigations and corrective action plans.
- Conduct safety orientations and toolbox talks.
- Monitor high?risk activities (Hot Work, Fall Protection) for permit and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate EHS records, including inspections, training logs, and SDS files.
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial safety or manufacturing EHS preferred.
- Strong knowledge of basic OSHA 1910 standards.
- OSHA 10?Hour certification required; OSHA 30?Hour preferred.
- Experience with ISO systems is a plus.
- Strong observation and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergencies.
- Ability to work in industrial and construction environments.
