Position: Multivac Lead II
Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Shifts: Open to both
Pay: $28-$32/hr
Must have experience with Vacuum Seal Machines
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Summary:
The Multivac Lead II oversees production activities, ensuring quality, efficiency, and teamwork on the line. This hands-on role includes guiding team members, maintaining equipment, and supporting daily operations while upholding safety and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Line Oversight: Set up, assign tasks, and monitor production performance
- Team Leadership: Motivate, train, and support team members
- Quality Control: Ensure product meets specifications; follow GMP and safety protocols
- Documentation: Complete production records and report downtime/issues
- Troubleshooting: Assist with machine issues to minimize delays
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety practices and report incidents
- Collaboration: Work with other departments to streamline processes
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with Multivac machines and food processing
- Leadership experience
- Able to lift 50 lbs, work on your feet, and perform repetitive tasks
Preferred:
- 3–5 years in meat processing
- USDA trained, HACCP certified
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Work Environment:
- Cold (30–50°F), fast-paced production floor
- Moderate to loud noise
- Regular physical activity including lifting, bending, and reaching
