Job Title: First Article Inspector
Type of Role: Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours: Swing
Location: San Jose California 
Rate Range: 20.00 – 21.00/hr. 

Recognized as a technology leader, provides end-to-end manufacturing solutions, delivering superior quality and support to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) primarily in the communications networks, defense and aerospace, industrial and semiconductor systems, medical, multimedia, computing and storage, automotive and clean technology sectors. 

Role and Responsibilities:
Will be performing First Article inspection.

Skills and Experience:
Candidate will check dimensions and perform the Optical Drill and Route F/As, including inspection of manufacturing goods during the manufacturing process.
Conducts dimensional inspection of Bare Printed Circuit boards at various locations in the manufacturing process using Coordinate Measuring Machines and  various other measuring devices and tools.
Interprets prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams and lists in approving or rejecting in-process products and Final products.

Education and Experience:
Previous experience with CMM programming/First Article inspection in quality control is a plus but is not necessary for the right candidate.
Previous experience in a PCB manufacturing environment is a plus, but is not necessary.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills
Must have good math skills.
