Job Title: Electrical Supervisor (Electrical, Instrument, and Communication)

Type of Role: Direct Hire

Shift / Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Lunch 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM

Location: Taylor, TX

Salary Range: Competitive, Based on Experience

About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and coordinate electrical construction activities, including wiring, panel and conduit installation, inspections, and subcontractor management. This role requires a strong background in plant construction projects, strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical work, ensuring compliance with codes, specifications, and project requirements.

• Monitor and manage electrical/control installation progress, overseeing subcontractors for accuracy, safety, and schedule adherence.

• Review construction progress, inspection documents, and ensure corrections are made for non-compliance.

• Provide final confirmation before inspection requests for client supervision.

• Conduct construction and quality checks for both on-site and external shop work.

• Regularly inspect material storage conditions and quality of subcontractor work.

• Verify incoming materials meet quality standards.

• Prepare and maintain quality records, review procedures, and manage non-conformance issues.

• Collaborate with construction teams to resolve technical challenges and propose solutions.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

• 5–10 years of electrical field experience in plant construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of electrical and control codes (NEC, OSHA, etc.).

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and DWG files.

• Proven experience working with multiple subcontractors.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.

• Proactive problem-solving and risk management mindset.

• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of construction contract documents and technical drawings.

• Preferred: 3+ years as an electrical engineer/supervisor, experience on $50M+ projects, oil & gas or semiconductor plant background, Trimble software knowledge, and electrical licenses (journeyman/master).

• Ability to commute to field office, work overtime or weekends when required.
