Job Title: Electrical Supervisor (Electrical, Instrument, and Communication)
Type of Role: Direct Hire
Shift / Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Lunch 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM
Location: Taylor, TX
Salary Range: Competitive, Based on Experience
About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and coordinate electrical construction activities, including wiring, panel and conduit installation, inspections, and subcontractor management. This role requires a strong background in plant construction projects, strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Role and Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all electrical work, ensuring compliance with codes, specifications, and project requirements.

Monitor and manage electrical/control installation progress, overseeing subcontractors for accuracy, safety, and schedule adherence.

Review construction progress, inspection documents, and ensure corrections are made for non-compliance.

Provide final confirmation before inspection requests for client supervision.

Conduct construction and quality checks for both on-site and external shop work.

Regularly inspect material storage conditions and quality of subcontractor work.

Verify incoming materials meet quality standards.

Prepare and maintain quality records, review procedures, and manage non-conformance issues.

Collaborate with construction teams to resolve technical challenges and propose solutions.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
-
5–10 years of electrical field experience in plant construction projects.

Strong knowledge of electrical and control codes (NEC, OSHA, etc.).

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and DWG files.

Proven experience working with multiple subcontractors.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.

Proactive problem-solving and risk management mindset.

Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of construction contract documents and technical drawings.

Preferred: 3+ years as an electrical engineer/supervisor, experience on $50M+ projects, oil & gas or semiconductor plant background, Trimble software knowledge, and electrical licenses (journeyman/master).

Ability to commute to field office, work overtime or weekends when required.
