We are seeking to hire SMT QC Inspector to support our client in Milpitas, CA. Our client is an electronics manufacturing service provider specializing in high-mix, low-to-medium volume assemblies, quick-turn prototypes and new product introduction (NPI) services.

Job Description
- Knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing Process Instructions, product documentation and deviation implementation for Surface Mount assemblies.
- Responsible for Surface Mount component FA inspection process.
- Responsible for stopping the line if needed.
- Responsible for scanning board data into the DGS system.
Job Requirements
- High School Education or equivalent.
- Minimum two years’ inspection experience of surface mount and through-hole printed circuit boards is a must.
- Experience using DMM (digital multimeter); must have the ability to measure & interpret the multimeter readings.
- Experience in contract manufacturing.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions.
- Ability to identify components, polarity (placement of components), part marking, solder joint inspection.
- Ability to interpret quality control specifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
Job Location:
- Milpitas, CA
Shifts Available:
- Swing Shift (2:30 PM-11:00 PM)
Swing Shift is eligible for +10% shift differential.
Job Types:
- Full-Time, Contract to Hire
Pay:
- $24.00 – $25.00/hr. (DOE)
