Job Title: Cycle Count Specialist
Type of Role: Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours: Days
Location: San Jose CA
Hourly Range: $24- $28.99
Job Purpose:
Cycle Counters are responsible for conducting routine inventory counts as well as the receipt, put away, picking, and consolidation of all materials entering the Sanmina stockroom.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
- Count, identify, and verify parts
- Pick, audit, and deliver parts
- Review and interpret data in various formats
- Complete computer transactions
- Fill stock requisitions
- Operate lift trucks and pallet jacks
- Ability to lift heavy/bulky items
- This position requires walking, bending, standing, sitting, and working on ladders
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Basic computer skills
- RF scanner experience
- Forklift operation and certification
- Accuracy with numbers and attention to detail
- Knowledge of 5S Methodology
- Previous inventory control, cycle counting, and/or stockroom experience preferred
- 4-6 years of experience in a warehouse environment required
