Location: Socorro, Texas
Schedule / Hours: Must have open availability, including weekends
Shift: Day and night shifts available
Pay:

  • Day Shift: $17.50 per hour

  • Night Shift: $20.50 per hour


Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Technician to maintain and support the physical infrastructure of a computer server assembly warehouse. This role is essential to ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of building maintenance, a proactive approach to facility issues, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems and equipment to support safe and efficient operations.

  • Work with electrical systems, including AC/DC voltages (three-phase, two-phase, and single-phase), electrical diagrams, and related components.

  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and fire safety equipment.

  • Monitor facility infrastructure to maintain a clean, safe, and functional work environment for production and warehouse teams.

  • Respond promptly to facility-related issues and emergencies to minimize downtime and disruption.

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, maintenance services, and facility upgrades.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service requests, and safety inspections.

  • Assist with space management, work area setup, and equipment relocation as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to facility management and energy efficiency.

  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment to ensure availability.

  • Collaborate closely with production, safety, and security teams to support overall facility operations.

  • Remain available for weekend and after-hours calls as operational needs require.

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for corrective and preventive maintenance.


Candidate Requirements

  • Technical certification or associate degree in facilities management, HVAC, electrical, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of facilities maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

  • Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.

  • Basic understanding of safety regulations and environmental compliance.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.

  • Experience working with vendors and managing service contracts.

  • Basic computer skills for logging work orders and communicating with teams.


Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in electronics or high-tech manufacturing environments.

  • Familiarity with ESD-safe environments and cleanroom protocols.

  • OSHA or other relevant safety certifications.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
