Job Title: Repair Test Technician

Expected Length of Contract: Long-term

Shift / Hours:
12-hour shifts including weekends. Schedule is 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Flexibility is extremely important.

Location: Socorro, TX 79928

Pay Rate: $24.50 per hour

Position Summary
The Repair Test Technician performs technical testing and evaluation of products, systems, or components to ensure servers meet established quality standards and technical specifications. This role is critical in identifying defects, verifying product reliability, and supporting continuous improvement within development and production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and differentiate various barcode types used in the workflow

• Recognize and understand different rack types and their designated uses

• Accurately place work units into appropriate racks according to established procedures

• Perform HiPot (high potential) testing to ensure electrical safety and compliance

• Inspect and verify the condition and functionality of electrical outlets and sockets

• Support team development by sharing knowledge and promoting safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Linux

• Minimum of 1 year of systems experience; 3 years preferred

• Proficient with testing equipment, measurement tools, and diagnostic instruments

• Experience performing electrical and safety tests, including HiPot testing

• Familiarity with barcode systems and rack placement procedures

• Skilled in hardware troubleshooting and basic command-line operations

• English proficiency required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
